Disappearing Data

Various government websites have long been repositories of data sets and information regarding public health, safety, and climate-related issues. Much of the data has been found to be scrubbed from these sources. Here are ways to still access data from governmental agencies.

End of Term Archive
The End of Term Web Archive captures and saves U.S. Government websites at the end of presidential administrations. The EOT has thus far preserved websites from administration changes in 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020.

Also, subscription resources the SMC Library has access to have not (to this point) removed previously collected data, including that from government sources. These sources include
