Anthropology 5: Introduction to Archaeology

For your critical article review you will be exploring the titles under Key Archaeology Journals (below).

As you look for an article, keep the following in mind

• You must select a research article. This is an article that is based on actual research that the author or authors have carried out.
• Do not select a book review.
• Be sure to select something that interests you.
• The article will probably be long (10-15 pages or more) - short articles generally are not research articles.
• Consider whether or not you can understand the article. All of these will be challenging - they are written by experts for experts. However, some are more challenging than others. If it seems too difficult, choose a different article.
