The IBDB was created by The Broadway League, a national trade association for Broadway. This database contains a collection of statistics and theatre programs from Broadway shows.

The Internet Archive is a non-profit that is archiving cultural artifacts in a digital form. Their collection now includes, 330 billion web pages, 20 million books and texts, 4.5 million audio recordings (including 180,000 live concerts), 4 million videos (including 1.6 million Television News programs), 3 million images and 200,000 software programs.

The Playbill Vault searches the Broadway programs, and organizes the playbill information, allowing researchers to see the inside of the playbill, the actors that were cast, and specific show information
