SMCA Photograph Collection

The Saint Mary's College Archives Photograph Collection is a collection of over 3,000 photographs depicting individuals, groups, locations, activities, events, and organizations at Saint Mary's College of California. The collection contains a mix of photographic prints, negatives, reproductions, and digital surrogates.

The collection of photographs is largely unprocessed and most photographs were removed from their original collections so provenance is unclear at times. As a result, information presented alongside the photos should be verified by the researcher. Every attempt to provide accurate dates, identification, and descriptions has been made.

ArchivesSpace Collection
Online access to 490 photographs is available via ArchivesSpace. This selection of photographs is representative of the collection as a whole. Photographs in this collection have been fully processed and described in accordance with Dublin Core standards.

Archon Legacy Collection
Collection of approximately 1,000 digitized photographs and ephemera. Access is only available via browsable thumbnails and biographical information may be incorrect.
