Finding full text

Some of the databases listed on this page are indexes, which means that they provide information about sources like articles, conference proceedings, and other publications, but many not include the full text of those documents.

To get to full text, here are some tips:

Search for the article title in Library Search to find out if SMC Library has subscription access. If we don't, you can submit an Interlibrary Loan request and we'll try to get a copy from one of our partner libraries. Full text usually arrives within 24 hours.
Try a browser extension like Unpaywall or Open Access Button. They search repositories of open access papers to see if the publication is freely available.
