Transformative agreements allow affordable open access publishing with major publishers by shifting what the Library was already paying for subscription-based content to supporting open access.
Saint Mary's College is part of SCELC (Statewide California Electronic Library Consortium), which has negotiated several transformative agreements with multiple publishers.
