Library Building information

While most tools are digital, Saint Albert Hall, the campus' physical library, has a lot of features to assist in your studies

Of particular note,

  • Groups study roomsReserve a room for 2 or more people online up to 2 weeks in advance. The building has several rooms, all with media viewing equipment. Book your favorite rooms early. Use the link provided for more information
  • Silent study room. Located on the 1st floor, this room is restricted to individual, silent work. If you need to concentrate, this may be the place for you.
  • Graduate Commons. Located on the 3rd floor, this room is available on a drop-in basis for anyone enrolled in an SMC graduate or doctoral program. This mixed use room can be used for group work or presentation practice, or for quiet retreat individually (if not otherwise in use by groups). Present your SMC ID card at the Access Service desk to confirm your graduate enrollment status for the access code.
