Articles are published in Journals. Journals are collected and indexed in Databases. Databases organize information by subject and can be found at A-Z Databases. Below are some databases to help you get started:
Research is not just scholarly articles. Often you need to get contemporary reports on issues of the day from newspapers, or get a report written by a governmental entity. Many government reports are online and available through the web. Limit your search to specific domains by doing this: your search terms site:.gov In this way you will only retrieve domains with .gov.
You have found a great article within one of the databases, but the full text is not available. What do you do?
Use Interlibrary Loan to borrow items from other libraries for free. Articles and book chapters are posted online in 3-4 business days.
