Newspaper of Record

The New York Times is often considered a national newspaper of record. The coverage in that paper can serve as an archive of significant events and national conversations. We have both current access to this title (without paywalls and limited article access) as well as the digitized historical archive from the beginning of the paper. 

 

Local Record 

The San Francisco Chronicle is more of a local newspaper of record for the Bay Area. We have both current access to this title as well as the digitized historical archive from the beginning of the paper.
