All videos, in DVD and streaming, in the SMC collection can be found using the search box on the Library's homepage. Start with your keyword or title and use the limits on the left side of your results page to narrow to "videos."

You can also browse the three online collections for just streaming films:

Kanopy
Kanopy is a leading distributor of tertiary educational videos. Titles available in this database are streaming. Media Education Foundation titles are included in the collection.
Films on Demand
Streaming videos from producers including PBS, BBC Learning, National Geographic, HBO, TED, and Films for the Humanities & Sciences

Feature films are still mostly unavailable streaming through libraries for copyright reasons. However, some classics, foreign films, and documentaries are available in one of our streaming services:

We do collected DVDs of award winners and critically acclaimed feature films in our Byron Bryant Film Collection. You can easily search for films by keyword, title, or author in the Library Search box on the Library's homepage. Use the limits on the left side of your results page to limit to "videos."

You can sort the list into a different order by changing the "Sort by" limit to the order you choose. For example, “Date-Newest” will show the most recent movies first.

You can use the Refine your results limits to specify that you want movies in a particular language (e.g. Spanish, French), or in a range of dates, and/or you can add specific actors/directors to your search criteria.
