I'm the librarian for English, MFA in Creative Writing, and Writing Studies.
I also serve as the SMC Library's Head of Teaching and Research Services, coordinating our reference desk, in-class information literacy sessions, and outreach programs.
Interests:
I'm passionate about critical information literacy, social justice, usability, and breaking down systemic barriers to libraries, information, and education. I also love living in Oakland, listening to NPR, and singing karaoke, and I've got two young kids who keep me quite busy!
